Draft, not yet in effect
For Darrion and Sean’s review before approval. These draft policies describe planned sales through SRR, not the current demo, where no real money changes hands.
Under these draft terms, you pay the full listed price plus sales tax online, not a deposit. Checkout places a hold on your card. The shop confirms that the piece is there, which charges your card. If the piece is gone, the hold is released at no cost.
Confirmation window: To be decided by SRR.
Check with a lawyer: confirm the sales-tax obligation and collection wording before live payments; the tax and charge arrangement is still unresolved.
The plan is for the shop to be the seller named on your card statement. This depends on a payment decision SRR has not made yet.
Check with a lawyer: confirm who is the seller of record and whether SRR is California’s marketplace facilitator once the payment and tax arrangement is settled.
The sale is final once the shop confirms. Pick up the remnant at the shop’s yard within 30 days of confirmation. After that, the sale stands, the shop keeps the money and may relist the piece.
Check with a lawyer: review final-sale, pickup-deadline and no-show terms, including the right to keep payment and relist the piece.
SRR does not offer delivery.
Pickup, loading and transport responsibilities and risk: To be decided by SRR.
Check with a lawyer: establish who is responsible for safe loading, transport and damage; this draft does not allocate that risk.
SRR’s fee comes out of the remnant price. Fabrication work is between you and the shop; SRR takes no cut of that work.
SRR’s fee rate: To be decided by SRR.
Your name, email and any phone number you provide are shared with the selling shop.
See the refund, return and dispute policy and privacy policy.
Legal business identity, warranties, liability and governing law: To be decided by SRR.
Check with a lawyer: identify the contracting business and review required consumer protections, warranties, liability and jurisdiction; none are defined by this draft.
The current site is a changing preview. Beta status and the terms for changes during beta: To be decided by SRR before beta payments begin.
